Featured in Seth Lui's article on the "10 stall in Serangoon Gardens Market & Food Centre that you shouldn't miss", Pancake King took one of the top few spots as the store not to be missed in Serangoon Gardens Market.

As one of our first few outlets, our store at the Serangoon Gardens Market and Food Centre has been serving our customers for many years. Read more about Seth Lui's cover about our outlet below.

If you’re a sucker for old school snacks or pastries like me, you’ve got to try Pancake King. They offer a range of pies, cakes, and other traditional snacks like Hum Ji Beng (S$1.30).

The Egg Tart (S$1.60) looked amazing in the display, so we just had to get this classic treat. The crumbly shell easily fell apart in my mouth, just the way I like my tarts.

Unfortunately, we unanimously agreed that the egg custard could have been sweeter.

Based on the shell of the Egg Tart, I expected nothing less from the crust of the Apple Pie (S$2.70) and it didn’t disappoint. I expected the apples sandwiched between the pie crust to be sweet, however, it had hints of berry flavours which added an unlikely tanginess to the pie.
